Kidneys are vital organs of our body. Their role is to filter the impurities from the blood and to eliminate the wastes from our body through urine. It also has the important role to regulate the electrolyte levels of our body.

The stone formation in the urinary tract or in kidneys is a common disorder. The chemicals from the urine (Calcium, oxalic acid, uric acid and phosphorus) lead to the stone formation. Anyway stones must be treated even from the first symptoms. A careless addressing of this order can lead to mere serious health problems. It can be treated efficiently though natural treatment.

Water is a great natural remedy for kidney stones. It is recommended to drink 2 liters of water daily to get rid of many health problems, including kidney stones.

Mix 60 ml (2 oz) lemon juice with an equal quantity of olive oil and add 200 ml of water. Drink this mixture and you will get rid of stones in 24 hours.

Coconut water is also a very good remedy. Drunk on regularly bases it has the property to break the stones in smaller pieces and so they can pass out.

Citrus fruits are known as an efficient treatment for kidney stones. But the most efficient citrus fruit has proven to be oranges. Drink a glass of fresh orange juice daily and you will prevent stone recurrence.

Onion has great medicinal properties. Put two medium onions in a glass of water and heat them well enough. Let them to cool down and blend them. After you have strained the liquid drink it three days consecutively.

Pomegranates seeds mixed with horse gram can also be of a great help. Prepare a soup from one cup pomegranate and two cups horse gram and drink this soup daily until you eliminate the kidney stones.

Kidney beans pods are also a great natural remedy for kidney stones. Procure 50 gm of chopped kidney beans pods and boil them six hours. Strain the water and let it cool another 6 hours. Drink a glass of this liquid from two in two hours in the first day and then repeat the treatment 3-4 times a week.

You can also get rid of kidney stones using "Chicken Bone Grass" herb.

Prepare a mixture from 90 ml of pineapple juice, 90 ml of tonic water, a pinch of cinnamon and another pinch of nutmeg. Drink this mixture twice a day, in the morning and in the night, for 5 days.

Watermelon, celery, basil and grapes are very efficient natural remedies for treating kidney stones.

Apples are a great enemy against kidney stones. Eat a ripe fruit every day and you can prevent the stones formation.

The seeds of sweet or sour pomegranates are great natural remedies for kidney stones. Ground a tbsp of seeds until they become a fine paste. Take this powder along a cup of kulthi (horse gram) soup. This natural cure has the property to dissolve the gravel from the kidneys. You need 2 tbsp of horse gram to prepare the soup.
